【摘要】:1.1Thispracticeisaguideforremovingspecimensforbuilt-upbituminousroofsystemsduringapplication,butbeforetheapplicationoffloodcoatingandtopsurfacing,fordeterminingtheapproximatequantitiesofthecomponentsandthepossiblepresenceofmoisture,ordryspotsbetweenplies,inthefield.Componentsmayconsistof:1.1.1Insulation,whenpartoftheroofmembranesystem,1.1.2Pliesofroofingfelt,1.1.3Interplylayersofbituminousmaterial,and1.1.4Topcoating,ifpresent,beforeanysurfacingaggregatehasbeenapplied.1.2Thispracticeisapplicabletoboth914-mm(36-in.)and1000-mm(393/8-in.)widefeltrolls.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSI(metric)unitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
