【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesamethodforthespectrometricdeterminationofalkaloidsincigarettesmokecondensates.ThesmokingofcigarettesandcollectionofmainstreamsmokearenormallycarriedoutinaccordancewithISO4387.However,thismethodisalsoapplicabletothedeterminationofnicotineincigarettesmokecondensatesobtainedbynon-standardsmoking.NOTE1ISO4387specifiestheuseofgas-chromatographyforthedeterminationofnicotineinsmokecondensatesolutions(seealsoISO10315).Incountriesthatarenotinapositiontousethegas-chromatographicmethod,thedeterminationofnicotineinsmokecondensateshouldbeperformedbythemethoddescribedinthisInternationalStandardandanappropriatenotemadeintheexpressionofresults.ThisInternationalStandarddeterminestotalalkaloids,whereasISO10315determinesonlynicotinebyvirtueofthegas-chromatographicseparation.Occasionally,differencescanoccurbecauseofminoramountsofalkaloidsotherthannicotineinsometypesoftobacco.
