【摘要】:Thetypeandamountofsolventusedinthesesealantscansometimesgiverisetosurfacebubblingandblisteringproblems.Thesubstrateused,whetherporousornonporous,willalsohaveaneffect.Althoughblisteringisoftencausedbymisapplication,thistestmethodisusefulindifferentiatingbetweenasealantthatdevelopsanacceptablysmoothsurfaceandonethatmayhaveblisteringtendencies.1.1Thistestmethodcoversdeterminationofthedegreeofbubbleformationorsurfaceblisteringinone-part,elastomericsolvent-releasetypesealantswhenexposedtoelevatedtemperatures.1.2ThesubcommitteewithjurisdictionisnotawareofanysimilarISOstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:Althoughitispossibletoobserveandmeasureeachoftheseveralcharacteristicsofadetectorunderdifferentanduniqueconditions,itistheintentofthispracticethatacompletesetofdetectorspecificationsshouldbeobtainedunderthesameoperatingconditions.Itshouldalsobenotedthattocompletelyspecifyadetectorrsquo;capability,itsperformanceshouldbemeasuredatseveralsetsofconditionswithintheusefulrangeofthedetector.Thetermsandtestsdescribedinthispracticearesufficientlygeneralthattheymaybeusedregardlessoftheultimateoperatingparameters.Linearityandresponsetimeoftherecorderorotherreadoutdeviceusedshouldbesuchthattheydonotdistortorotherwiseinterferewiththeperformanceofthedetector.Thisrequiresadjustingthegain,damping,andcalibrationinaccordancewiththemanufacturerrsquo;directions.Ifadditionalelectronicfiltersoramplifiersareusedbetweenthedetectorandthefinalreadoutdevice,theircharacteristicsshouldalsofirstbeestablished.1.1Thispracticecoversthetestingoftheperformanceofavariable-wavelengthphotometricdetector(VWPD)usedasthedetectioncomponentofaliquid-chromatographic(LC)systemoperatingatoneormorewavelengthsintherange190to800nm.Manyofthemeasurementsaremadeat254nmforconsistencywithPracticeE685.Measurementsatotherwavelengthsareoptional.1.2Thispracticeisintendedtodescribetheperformanceofthedetectorbothindependentlyofthechromatographicsystem(staticconditions)andwithflowingsolvent(dynamicconditions).1.3Forgeneralliquidchromatographicprocedures,consultRefs(1-9).1.4Forgeneralinformationconcerningtheprinciples,construction,operation,andevaluationofliquid-chromatographydetectors,seeRefs(10,11)inadditiontothesectionsdevotedtodetectorsinRefs(1-7).1.5ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.1.6Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
