【摘要】:Thesignificanceofthevariablessetforthinthisguidewasprovedbyvariouslaboratoriesusingseveraltestsystemsattestcurrentsrangingfrom100to35000A.Thesevariableswillbesignificantforanycasewherevoltageandcurrentaresufficienttoproducearcing.1.1Thisguidecoversthemajorvariableswhichaffecttherateofarcerosionofelectricalcontactmaterialsandservesasaguideindevelopingmoredetailedspecificationsforarc-erosiontests.1.2Arcerosiontestinginvolvessomevaporizationofmaterial.ItistheresponsibilityoftheusertobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheetforthematerialbeingtested.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.ItistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtobecomefamiliarwithallhazardsincludingthoseidentifiedintheappropriateMaterialSafetyDataSheet(MSDS)forthisproduct/materialasprovidedbythemanufacturer,toestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpractices,anddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.

【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationestablishesrequirementsforpolypropylene(PP)pipingsystemcomponentsmadetometricsizesandIPSschedule80sizes,andpressureratedforwaterserviceanddistributionsupply(seeAppendixX1).Includedarecriteriaformaterials,workmanship,dimensionsandtolerances,producttests,andmarkingforpolypropylene(PP)pipingsystemcomponentssuchaspipe,fittings,valves,andmanifolds.1.2Thecomponentsgovernedbythisspecificationshallbepermittedforuseinwaterservicelines,hot-and-coldwaterdistribution,hydronicheating,andirrigationsystems.1.3Thepipeandfittingsproducedunderthisspecificationshallbepermittedtobeusedtotransportindustrialprocessfluids,effluents,slurries,municipalsewage,etc.Theusershallconsultthemanufacturertodeterminewhetherthematerialbeingtransportediscompatiblewiththepolypropylenepipingsystemandwillnotaffecttheservicelifebeyondlimitsacceptabletotheuser.1.4Units8212;Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatoryrequirementspriortouse.
