【摘要】:Thisguideislimitedtothedescriptionoftestmethodstypicalformeasurementofground-waterdischargefromacontrolwell.4.1.1Controlledfieldtestsaretheprimarymeansofdeterminingaquiferproperties.Mostmathematicalequationsdevelopedforanalyzingfieldtestsrequiremeasurementofcontrolwelldischarge.4.1.2Dischargemaybeneededforevaluationofwelldesignandefficiency.4.1.3Foraquifertests,aconceptualmodelshouldbepreparedtoevaluatethepropertestmethodandphysicaltestrequirements,suchaswellplacementanddesign(seeGuideD4043).Reviewthesitedataforconsistencywiththeconceptualmodel.Revisetheconceptualmodelasappropriateandconsidertheimplicationsontheplannedactivities.4.1.4Foraquifertests,thedischargerateshouldbesufficienttocausesignificantstressoftheaquiferwithoutviolatingtestassumptions.Conditionsthatmayviolatetestassumptionsincludeconversionoftheaquiferfromconfinedtounconfinedconditions,loweringthewaterlevelinthecontrolwelltobelowthetopofthewellscreen,causingawellscreenentrancevelocitythatpromoteswelldevelopmentduringthetest,ordecreasingthefilterpackpermeabilitycharacteristics.4.1.5Sometestmethodsdescribedherearenotapplicabletoinjectionwelltests.Thisguidedoesnotapplytotestmethodsusedinmeasurementofflowofotherfluidsusedinindustrialoperations,suchaswastewater,sludge,oil,andchemicals.1.1Thisguidecoversanoverviewofmethodstomeasurewelldischarge.Thisguideisanintegralpartofaseriesofstandardspreparedonthein-situdeterminationofhydraulicpropertiesofaquifersystemsbysingle-ormultiple-welltests.Measurementofwelldischargeisacommonrequirementtothedeterminationofaquiferandwellhydraulicproperties.1.2Thisguidedoesnotestablishafixedprocedureforanymethoddescribed.Rather,itdescribesdifferentmethodsformeasuringdischargefromapumpingorflowingwell.Apumpingwellisonetypeofcontrolwell.Acontrolwellcanalsobeaninjectionwellorawellinwhichslugtestsareconducted.1.3Thisguidedoesnotaddressboreholeflowmetersthataredesignedformeasuringverticalorhorizontalflowwithinaborehole.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.Furthermore,itistheuser''sresponsibilitytoproperlydisposeofwaterdischarged.1.6Thisguideoffersanorganizedcollectionofinformationoraseriesofoptionsanddoesnotrecommendaspecificcourseofaction.Thisdocumentcannotreplaceeducationorexperienceandshouldbeusedinconjunctionwithprofessionaljudgment.Notallaspectsofthisguidemaybeapplicableinallcircumstances.ThisASTMstandardisnotintendedtorepresentorreplacethestandardofcarebywhichtheadequacyofagivenprofessionalservicemustbejudged,norshouldthisdocumentbeappliedwithoutconsiderationofaproject''smanyuniqueaspects.Theword"Standard"inthetitleofthisdocumentmeansonlythatthedocumenthasbeenapprovedthroughtheASTMconsensusprocess.
