【摘要】:OrganizationofthedocumentISO/IEC15938specifiesametadatasystemfordescribingmultimediacontent.ThispartofISO/IEC15938specifieshowtestscanbedesignedtoverifywhetherdescriptionsanddescriptionconsumingterminalsmeetthespecificationsofparts1,2,3,4and5ofISO/IEC15938.InthispartofISO/IEC15938,thecreationorextractionofdescriptionsfrommultimediacontentisnotaddressedspecifically.AsystemproducingdescriptionsmaybesaidtobeanISO/IEC15938compatibledescriptionproductionsystemifitproducesdescriptions(binaryortextual)thatconformtothespecificationsofparts1,2,3,4and5ofISO/IEC15938.Thecharacteristicsofdescriptionsandtheterminalsconsumingdescriptionsaredefinedforparts1,2,3,4and5ofISO/IEC15938asfollows.?Descriptions:thecharacteristicsofaspecificdescriptionaredefinedaccordingtosyntaxandsemanticsofelementsfromISO/IEC15938thatareusedinthedescription.?Terminals:thecharacteristicsofaterminalconsumingadescriptionaredefinedaccordingtotherequireddescriptiondecodingprocessfortheelementsusedinthedescription.Anexampleofadescriptiondecodingpropertyisthearithmeticaccuracyinwhichthevalueofelementarerepresented.Thecapabilitiesofadescriptionconsumingterminalaredeterminedbythedomainofdescriptionsandelementsthattheterminaliscapableofdecoding.AdescriptioncanbedecodedbyaterminaliftheelementsofthedescriptionarewithinthesubsetofISO/IEC15938specifiedforagivendefinitionofdecodercapabilities.Inthisdocument,proceduresaredescribedfortestingconformanceofdescriptionsandterminalsaccordingtothespecificationsofparts1,2,3,4and5ofISO/IEC15938.Givenasetofclaimedcharacteristics(descriptionsandterminals),therequirementsforconformancearefullydeterminedbyparts1,2,3,4and5ofISO/IEC15938.ThispartofISO/IEC15938summarizestherequirementsanddefineshowconformancecanbetested.Guidelinesaregivenonconstructingteststoverifyconformanceofdescriptionsandterminals.Thisdocumentprovidesadditionalguidelinesonhowtoconstructtestsuitesforcheckingconformanceofterminals.Inaddition,sometestdescriptionsareprovided.
